Set Up, Combine, or Separate Sportreact Pods
A Sportreact set can contain up to 12 pods.
Setup Mode allows you to change how your pods are grouped. You can:
- Add additional pods to an existing set
- Replace pods within a set
- Combine multiple sets into one larger set
- Separate one set into two or more independent sets
Pods in Setup Mode display a blue screen.
Whenever you change which pods belong to a set, complete the Setup process so the pods are configured correctly.
How to Enter Setup Mode
Go to:
Settings → Pods → Setup
Then tap How to enter setup mode.
If the pods are already connected
Tap Switch connected pods.
The connected pods will switch to Setup Mode and display a blue screen.
If the pods are not connected
For each pod you want to add:
- Press and hold the pod’s power button for approximately 6 seconds.
- When the screen turns red, continue holding the button for another 3 seconds.
- Release the button.
- A green screen will appear and the pod will power off.
- Turn the pod back on.
- Confirm that it now displays a blue screen.
Repeat this for all additional pods.
Once finished, make sure all pods you want to configure are turned on and displaying blue. Turn off any other Sportreact sets nearby so they are not accidentally included.
How to Combine Multiple Pods or Sets
For example, you may want to combine two six-pod sets into one 12-pod set.
Step 1: Put All Pods Into Setup Mode
For the set currently connected to the app:
- Go to Settings → Pods → Setup.
- Tap How to enter setup mode.
- Tap Switch connected pods.
For any additional pods that are not connected, use the power-button method described above.
Make sure all pods you want to combine display a blue screen.
Step 2: Create One Group
Return to the Setup tab.
- Wait for all available pods to appear.
- Set Number of groups to 1.
- Confirm that every pod you want in the new set appears under Group 1.
- If necessary, use the handles beside the pods to move them into the correct group.
Step 3: Set Up the New Set
Tap Setup.
The app will begin configuring each pod. Wait until all pods have successfully completed setup.
Once all pods are ready:
- Tap Connect.
- Wait for the app to assign the pod numbers and Master Pod.
- Tap Finish.
- Sync the pods if prompted.
Your pods are now configured as one set.
How to Separate One Set Into Multiple Sets
For example, you may want to divide one six-pod set into two three-pod sets.
Each separated set can then be connected to a different phone or tablet so both sets can be used at the same time.
Step 1: Put the Original Set Into Setup Mode
- Connect to the complete set.
- Go to Settings → Pods → Setup.
- Tap How to enter setup mode.
- Tap Switch connected pods.
All connected pods should now display a blue screen.
Step 2: Choose the Number of Sets
In the Setup tab:
- Change Number of groups to the number of separate sets you want to create.
- The app will create Group 1, Group 2, and additional groups as needed.
- Move the pods between groups using the handles beside each pod.
For example:
Group 1: 3 pods
Group 2: 3 pods
Each group will become its own independent Sportreact set.
Step 3: Complete Setup
Once the pods are arranged correctly:
- Tap Setup.
- Wait for the setup process to complete.
- Follow the on-screen steps to connect and finish configuring the new sets.
After setup, the groups are configured as separate Sportreact sets.
When using them simultaneously, connect each set to a separate phone or tablet.
Adding or Replacing Individual Pods
The same process applies when adding a new pod or replacing an existing one.
- Put the existing pods into Setup Mode using Switch connected pods.
- Put the new or replacement pod into Setup Mode using the power-button method.
- Make sure all pods display a blue screen.
- Go to Settings → Pods → Setup.
- Set Number of groups to 1.
- Confirm that all pods belonging to the set appear in the group.
- Tap Setup.
- Once setup is complete, tap Connect → Finish.
One or More Pods Don’t Appear During Setup
If a pod is displaying a blue screen but does not appear in the Setup list:
- Press and hold the pod’s On/Off button for approximately 45 seconds without releasing it.
- Release the button.
- Turn the pod back on.
- Check whether it displays a blue screen.
- Restart the Setup process.
If the blue screen does not appear, use the Setup Mode procedure above:
- Hold the power button for approximately 6 seconds.
- Once the screen turns red, continue holding for another 3 seconds.
- Release when the green screen appears.
- Turn the pod back on and confirm that the screen is blue.
Then restart the Setup process
