Introducing NFC Wristbands & NFC Reader

Learn more about the basics and how to use "Scan and start technology"

Manually timing drills and analyzing results takes up valuable hours — time that could be spent coaching. With Sportreact’s "Scan and Start" wristbands, data collection is instant. Athletes wear their bracelets, and every start is recorded automatically. No manual timing. No extra scores handling. All results are saved directly to each athlete’s profile. Key metrics appear instantly in your Sportreact PLUS app, ready for you to view and create custom reports. "Scan and start technology" with Sportreact device is the easiest way to track sprint, agility, and cognitive progress. Read more to see how it works.

How "Scan and start" kit helps?

NFC bands allow coaches to instantly connect an athlete's identity to the Sportreact system during each drill, enabling hands-free timing and automated data collection.

To be able to optimize your data collection you will need:
1) Scan and start (NFC) wristbands

2) NFC reader

3) Sportreact device

4) Sportreact PLUS subscription

How Scan and Start Works?

1) Seamless Athlete Identification

Each athlete wears an NFC bracelet containing a unique identifier, which is linked to their athlete profile in the Sportreact app.

2) Touch to Start

At the start line, the athlete taps their NFC wristband on an NFC reader, instantly linking their identity to the rep.

3) Automated Timing

The system automatically starts the drill and records start, split, and finish times as athletes pass through timing gates; or total activity time, fastest/average reactions and more as they trigger reaction system drills.

4) Data Capture & Auto-calculations

All data is seamlessly recorded and saved to athlete's profile. Sportreact system saves total/split times, and calculates velocity, acceleration, force and power in real time.

5) Instant Analytics

Coaches can immediately review results in all metrics, compare performances, and monitor trends during the drill by observing live analytics, live leaderboard, or afterwards in the Analytics section of the app.
